Thank you for contacting us regarding your outstanding Parking Charge. If you have already appealed this charge directly with the Parking Operator, your appeal response will have highlighted the options that were available to you, such as making payment for the charge, or appealing to the relevant Appeals Service. As the charge remains unresolved, the case has been passed to us to recover the amount owed and we will not consider any further disputes / appeals at this stage.
If you have not already appealed this charge with the Parking Operator, we can advise that the time frame in which an appeal can be made has now elapsed and you can no longer appeal this charge. However, if you have evidence of exceptional circumstances that prevented you from appealing the Parking Charge within the required timeframe, please provide this evidence to us so that we can discuss your options with you. These may include passing the case back to the Parking Operator to have your appeal considered or offering you the opportunity to settle the charge at the original Parking Charge amount.
Exceptional circumstances may include the you being away or abroad when the notice was delivered, hospitalised as an in-patient, or delivered to the wrong address through no fault of your own. You will need to be able to supply sufficient evidence of such circumstances for us to review your case.
